New hope for painful skin bumps: experimental drug NAV-240 enters Mid-Stage trial

Summary
This study tests whether the experimental drug NAV-240 can reduce painful skin bumps and draining tunnels in people with moderate-to-severe hidradenitis suppurativa (HS). About 150 adults who have had HS for at least 6 months and have not responded well to antibiotics will receive either NAV-240 or a placebo as an IV infusion. The main goal is to see if NAV-240 leads to a 75% reduction in inflamed bumps after 16 weeks.
