Virtual reality and nature sounds may ease anxiety during pregnancy tests

NCT ID NCT07512999

First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at whether listening to nature sounds or using virtual reality during a non-stress test (a routine check on baby's health) can help pregnant women feel less anxious, more comfortable, and more satisfied. About 150 healthy pregnant women will be split into three groups: one using virtual reality, one listening to nature sounds, and one receiving standard care. The goal is to see if these simple, drug-free methods improve the testing experience.
