First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This completed online study looked at how spending time in nature (like parks, gardens, or beaches) might improve mood and thinking in 97 adults aged 40 and older, both with and without Parkinson's disease. Participants filled out surveys about their connection to nature, mood, sleep, and quality of life. The goal was to understand if natural environments have restorative benefits for people with Parkinson's.
