Summary
This study looked at how type 2 diabetes works in children and young adults aged 12 to 25. Some participants took diabetes medicine with or without extra insulin to see if resting the pancreas could help it make more insulin. The study also compared them to healthy volunteers to learn about body fat, heart health, and emotional well-being.
