First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests a treatment called oral immunotherapy (OIT) for peanut and cow's milk allergies in children and young adults (ages 3-23). Participants slowly eat increasing amounts of the actual food they're allergic to, under medical supervision, to build tolerance. The goal is to reduce severe allergic reactions and improve quality of life, though ongoing management is still needed.
