What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

Lateral crural steal with columellar strut graft (surgical procedure)

What this could lead to

If successful, this could provide a reliable surgical method to improve nasal tip projection and rotation in rhinoplasty patients.

What could go wrong

This is a small, single-center study with only 22 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. As with any surgery, there are risks like infection, scarring, or unsatisfactory cosmetic outcome.
