First seen Dec 08, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at whether removing extra lymphoid tissue in the back of the nose during standard sinus surgery can better control inflammation in people with nasal polyps. Thirty-two adults with nasal polyps and high blood eosinophils will be randomly assigned to get either standard surgery alone or standard surgery plus the extra tissue removal. Researchers will check inflammation levels, symptoms, and polyp return over six months.
