Summary
This study looks at whether giving extra oxygen through the nose during a hospital stay can lower the chance of wound problems after ankle fracture surgery. It focuses on patients who are at higher risk due to conditions like diabetes, smoking, or complex fractures. About 200 adults will be randomly assigned to receive oxygen therapy or standard care, and their recovery will be tracked for up to 6 months.
