First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looked at how bacteria living in children's noses and guts interact with a nasal flu vaccine. About 200 kids aged 6 to 17 received the vaccine at different times, and researchers measured their immune responses and bacterial changes. The goal was to understand, not to treat, so there was no direct health benefit for participants.
