Timing is everything: new study tests painkiller timing for knee surgery patients

Summary
This study looks at whether giving the painkiller nalbuphine at different times during knee replacement surgery can better control pain and keep the heart and blood pressure stable in patients aged 65 and older. About 162 participants will receive the same dose of nalbuphine but at different points before, during, or after surgery. The goal is to find the best timing to reduce pain and avoid complications from the surgery itself.
