First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looks at why people born with low birth weight have a higher chance of developing fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Researchers will put 8 adults with NAFLD on a 4-week low-calorie diet to see if it reduces liver fat and improves health. The goal is to understand how the body stores fat and find better ways to prevent or treat NAFLD in this group.
