First seen Feb 26, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study is for adults aged 21-60 with ME/CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome). It tests different doses of N-Acetylcysteine (NAC), an antioxidant, to see how it affects brain glutathione levels and markers of oxidative stress. The goal is to understand how NAC works in the brain, not to prove it is a cure. About 95 people will participate.
