First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests whether N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC), a supplement, can reduce memory and thinking problems caused by chemotherapy in ovarian cancer patients. About 102 women with advanced ovarian cancer will take NAC alongside their standard platinum-based chemo. The goal is to find the safest dose and see if it helps protect brain function.
