Summary

This study tested whether a cream containing N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) could help people with mild to moderate eczema. The cream was compared to a plain moisturizer (cold cream) to see if it reduced bacteria on the skin and improved eczema symptoms. 100 adults took part in the trial, which was completed at Cairo University.
