First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looks at how different patterns of light exposure and food intake affect the body's metabolism when sleep is reduced. Researchers will monitor 120 healthy adults aged 18-35 over 4-6 months, including three overnight clinic stays. The goal is to understand how these factors disrupt the body's internal clock and energy use, not to test a treatment.
