First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looks at whether special glasses (Stellest lenses) or low-dose atropine eyedrops can prevent or slow nearsightedness (myopia) in children aged 3 to 6. About 508 children in Shanghai will be followed for up to 2 years. The goal is to find safe and effective ways to protect young kids from developing high myopia later in life.
