First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests a new type of glasses designed to slow down the progression of nearsightedness (myopia) in children whose eyesight is getting worse quickly. About 118 children will wear these special lenses for 4 years, and researchers will measure changes in their vision and eye length. The goal is to see if the lenses can help control myopia, not cure it.
