First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tests whether a new type of glasses can slow the progression of nearsightedness (myopia) in children whose vision is getting worse quickly. About 118 children will wear these special lenses for up to 4 years, and researchers will measure changes in their eyes every 6 months. The goal is to see if the lenses can reduce how fast their eyesight deteriorates.
