First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a 30-minute myofascial massage can reduce stiffness and improve blood flow in the shoulder muscles of breast cancer survivors who have myofascial pain. Twenty-one participants who had completed breast cancer treatment 3 months to 2 years earlier received the massage. Researchers also examined how the quality of conversation between patient and therapist influenced the results.
