NCT ID NCT06955338

First seen Feb 20, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at whether listening to music or using virtual reality can reduce pain, anxiety, and fear in children aged 6-12 with leukemia when they receive care for painful mouth sores caused by chemotherapy. About 45 children will be randomly assigned to a music group, a VR group, or a control group. The goal is to find simple, drug-free ways to make this necessary care less distressing.
