NCT ID NCT06611878

First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study explores whether intensive singing lessons can improve thinking skills and mood in people with early-stage Alzheimer's. About 113 adults aged 65 and older from Norway, Austria, and Argentina will take part. They will receive 5 months of twice-weekly music training and 5 months of once-monthly sessions, with breaks in between. Researchers will measure memory, brain activity, and mood to see if learning new songs helps.
