First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looks at whether listening to live or recorded music can help lower stress and pain in children (ages 2 months to 17 years) who are on breathing machines in the pediatric ICU. Researchers will measure stress and pain using saliva tests and heart rate monitors. The goal is to find a simple, drug-free way to make these children more comfortable.
