First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looks at whether playing music for children in the intensive care unit can help them stay calm and stable while their breathing tube is removed. The process can be stressful and painful, sometimes leading to complications. Researchers will compare children who receive standard care plus music therapy to those who receive standard care alone, measuring heart rate, breathing, and other vital signs.
