Music may replace some sedatives for ICU patients on ventilators

Summary
This study tests whether listening to music can lower the amount of sedation drugs needed by ICU patients on breathing machines. One hundred adults will be randomly assigned to listen to music or silence through headphones. Researchers will track heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, and sedative doses to see if music helps patients relax.
