Tune out fear: music may calm nerves during bone marrow biopsy

Summary

This study tests whether listening to music during a bone marrow biopsy or aspiration can lower anxiety. About 113 adults with blood cancers will be randomly assigned to either receive standard care or also listen to music during the procedure. Researchers will measure anxiety levels using a questionnaire and also track pain scores.
