Can evening music soothe sundowning in Alzheimer's patients?
NCT ID NCT07465783
Summary
This study aims to see if evening music sessions led by a therapist can help people with Alzheimer's disease or related disorders fall asleep more easily and reduce disruptive behaviors in secure care units. It will compare music sessions to listening to audiobooks in 48 residents. Researchers will measure sleep patterns using wrist monitors and track behaviors to see which approach works better.
