First seen Mar 13, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests whether a music session led by a therapist in the evening can improve sleep and reduce agitation in people with Alzheimer's or similar memory disorders living in a special care unit. Researchers will track sleep with a wrist monitor and measure behavior changes. The goal is to find a drug-free way to ease the 'sundowning' restlessness that often happens late in the day.
