Evening melodies tested to calm Alzheimer's sundowning
NCT ID NCT07465783
Summary
This study aims to see if evening music sessions led by a therapist can help people with Alzheimer's disease fall asleep more easily and reduce disruptive behaviors, especially during the 'sundowning' period. It will involve 48 older adults living in secure care units. Each participant will try both music sessions and audiobook sessions to compare their effects on sleep and daytime behavior.
