First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests whether listening to music can help reduce pain and stress during the non-surgical realignment of a broken wrist. 192 adults will be randomly assigned to hear their preferred music, a therapist-chosen playlist, or standard care. Pain levels and vital signs will be measured before and after the procedure to see if music makes a difference.
