Soothing tunes tested to ease Kids' pain and fear in the ER
NCT ID NCT06876194
Summary
This study tested whether playing music for children improves their experience during painful procedures in the emergency room. Researchers compared standard sedation alone to sedation combined with music for 88 children aged 0-14. They measured how calm the children were, their recovery, and doctor satisfaction to see if music provided extra comfort.
