This study tests whether listening to 15 minutes of frequency-filtered music before daily therapy sessions can make PTSD treatment more effective. About 100 adults with PTSD will receive 10 sessions of cognitive processing therapy, plus either filtered or unfiltered music. Researchers will track symptom changes, stress levels, and heart rate over six months to see if the music helps calm the nervous system and improve therapy outcomes.
