Music may soothe pain of bed sore treatment in seniors

Summary
This study looks at whether playing music before and during wound dressing changes can help reduce pain and improve healing for older adults with pressure injuries (bed sores). About 50 residents aged 60 and older from long-term care homes will take part. Some homes will play the resident's favorite music during wound care, while others will not. The study will track pain, wound healing, and overall experience over up to six months.
