Calming tunes soothe Moms-to-Be during stressful pregnancy check
NCT ID NCT07299214
Summary
This study tested whether playing music during a routine pregnancy heartbeat test (called a Non-Stress Test or NST) could make the experience better for expectant mothers. Researchers worked with 173 pregnant women to see if listening to music during the test lowered their anxiety, improved their comfort, and affected vital signs like blood pressure and heart rate. The goal was to find a simple, non-drug way to ease stress during this common prenatal appointment.
