First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tested whether listening to music and inhaling lavender oil before a coronary angiography (a heart imaging test) can reduce pain, anxiety, and fear while increasing comfort. 139 heart patients took part, with some receiving these calming treatments and others receiving standard care. The goal was to see if these simple, drug-free methods could make the procedure less stressful.
