First seen Dec 08, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looked at whether exercising to music with a strong beat helps older adults stay active. 54 healthy adults aged 65 and older took part. They were split into two groups: one exercised to beat-accented music, the other without. The study tracked their physical activity, mood, and thinking skills over 6 months to see if the music made a difference.
