Could a common mushroom help fight prostate cancer?

NCT ID NCT04519879

Summary

This study is testing whether a dietary supplement made from white button mushrooms can help control prostate cancer. It is for men whose cancer has returned after initial treatment (showing rising PSA levels) and for men with newly diagnosed, low-risk cancer who are being monitored. The goal is to see if the supplement can lower PSA levels and potentially slow the cancer's progression.
