NCT ID NCT05627141
First seen Apr 20, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looked at three different ways to help muscles recover after intense exercise in 60 male CrossFit athletes. The methods tested were light therapy (photobiomodulation), ice with compression, and massage. The goal was to see which one works best to reduce muscle soreness, improve strength, and lower signs of muscle damage. Participants did a workout to tire their muscles, then received one of the treatments, and were checked right away, 24 hours later, and 48 hours later.
