Tiny muscle biopsies could unlock better treatments for kids with CP

NCT ID NCT06584851

First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at muscle tissue from children with cerebral palsy (ages 2-9) to understand how their muscles grow and change at a microscopic level. Researchers will take small muscle samples during planned medical procedures and use imaging to connect these findings to muscle size and function. The goal is to identify different types of CP that might respond best to specific treatments, leading to better care in the future.
