First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study aims to understand why muscle wasting (cachexia) happens in some colorectal cancer patients. Researchers will take small muscle samples and compare them between patients with and without cachexia, as well as healthy volunteers. The goal is to learn more about the muscle changes, not to test a treatment.
