New drug combo aims to tailor myeloma treatment to each patient

NCT ID NCT07624513

First seen Jun 10, 2026 · Last updated Jun 20, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This Phase 3 trial is testing a personalized approach for people with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma who are eligible for a stem cell transplant. After initial treatment with a four-drug combination (isatuximab, iberdomide, bortezomib, and dexamethasone), the next steps—consolidation and maintenance therapy—will be chosen based on each patient's risk profile and how well their cancer responds. The goal is to find the best treatment path for each individual, aiming for deeper and longer-lasting remission.
