New anesthesia cocktail aims to get kidney surgery patients home in record time

Summary
This study compares a combination of anesthesia methods (multimodal) to standard anesthesia for people having robotic kidney surgery for cancer. The goal is to see if the special approach reduces pain, cuts down on strong painkillers, and allows patients to leave the hospital sooner. About 80 adults will take part, and the study will run from 2026 to 2027.
