First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests whether a combination of two antifungal drugs (liposomal amphotericin B plus posaconazole or isavuconazole) can better treat a serious fungal infection called mucormycosis in adults with blood cancers like leukemia or lymphoma. About 60 participants will receive the combination therapy and be monitored for symptom improvement, side effects, and survival. The goal is to find a more effective treatment for this high-risk group.
