Summary
This study looked at whether taking Mucinex (guaifenesin) long-term helps adults with stable chronic bronchitis manage their symptoms. Over 12 weeks, 82 participants took Mucinex twice daily and reported on their cough, mucus production, and treatment satisfaction. The goal was to see if this common over-the-counter medicine improves daily life for people with this ongoing lung condition.
