NCT ID NCT07242092

First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at whether temporarily stopping methotrexate (an arthritis medication) for 2 weeks after a pneumonia vaccine (PCV20) helps the vaccine work better in adults with autoimmune rheumatic diseases like rheumatoid arthritis or lupus. About 192 participants with stable, low disease activity will be enrolled. The goal is to see if the pause leads to a stronger immune response without causing a disease flare.
