First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looked at how a new drug called MT-8554 changes the way the body processes two common cholesterol-lowering medicines, simvastatin and rosuvastatin. Twenty-eight healthy men took the statins alone and then with MT-8554 to see if their blood levels changed. The goal was to gather safety and interaction information, not to treat any disease.
