Summary
This study aimed to find out if the antibiotic cefazolin works as well as the standard drug cloxacillin for treating a dangerous bloodstream infection called MSSA bacteremia. It involved 315 adults with this infection. Researchers wanted to see if cefazolin could be a safer and more readily available alternative with similar cure rates.
