New injection aims to ease knee arthritis without cells
NCT ID NCT07157891
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This early-phase trial tests whether an injection made from stem cell byproducts and growth factors can safely reduce pain and improve knee function in people with mild knee osteoarthritis. About 25 adults aged 30–55 with early-stage arthritis will receive the injection and be monitored for side effects, pain changes, and joint stiffness over time. The goal is to see if this cell-free approach can help repair cartilage and ease symptoms.
