Massive 30-Year study launches to unlock mysteries of MS
NCT ID NCT02994121
Summary
This study aims to understand why multiple sclerosis progresses differently in each person and why treatments work better for some than others. Researchers will follow 7,500 participants (including people with MS and healthy volunteers) for 30 years, collecting health data, biological samples, and brain scans. The goal is to gather information that could lead to more personalized MS care in the future, but this is an observational study that does not test new treatments.
