New weighted vest and sensory path therapy tested to help MS patients walk better
NCT ID NCT05991297
Summary
This study tested a new physical therapy program designed to help people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) walk more steadily and improve their balance. Forty adults with MS received either standard therapy or a new program that included wearing a weighted vest and walking on special textured surfaces. Researchers compared the results to see if the new approach was more effective at improving walking, balance, and daily activities.
