MS patients may get symptom relief from simple nurse education – even online

NCT ID NCT07411508

First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests whether education from a nurse – either in person or through tele-nursing (like WhatsApp) – can help people with multiple sclerosis feel less tired, have less pain, sleep better, and get fewer urinary tract infections. About 96 adults with relapsing-remitting MS will receive training modules over six weeks. The goal is to see if this supportive education improves daily life.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

nurse-led education (face-to-face or tele-nursing)

What this could lead to

If successful, this could show that remote nursing education is as good as in-person sessions for managing MS symptoms, offering a convenient option for patients.

What could go wrong

This is a small, single-center trial with only 96 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The education is supportive, not a treatment for the disease itself.
