Scientists test 'Teaching' immune cells to stop attacking the brain in MS

NCT ID NCT07020715

Summary

This early-stage trial is testing a personalized cell therapy designed to slow the progression of disability in people with progressive forms of multiple sclerosis (MS). Doctors will take a participant's own immune cells, modify them in a lab to potentially calm the immune attack on the brain and spinal cord, and then reinfuse them. The study will follow 14 participants to see if the treatment is safe and if it can help stabilize or improve their level of disability.
